INFORMATION AND TRAINING MEASURES FOR WORKERS ORGANISATIONS

Σύντομη Περιγραφή:

Objectives:
Objectives of this call include measures addressing modernisation of the labour market, quality of work, anticipation, preparation and management of change, flexicurity, mobility and migration, youth employment, contributions to the health and safety strategy, reconciliation of work and family life, gender equality, action in the field of anti-discrimination, active ageing, active inclusion and decent work.

EU priorities relating to the response to the current economic crisis, tackling climate change and preparing the EU 2020 Strategy to follow up the Lisbon Strategy, will be particularly welcome. Measures to support workers' organisations' initiatives related to the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion (2010) can also be supported. These could address issues such as the working poor, precarious jobs, segmentation of the labour market, inclusive labour markets, etc.
The budget heading can also be used to finance actions involving representatives of workers' organisations from the Candidate Countries. It is also intended to promote equal participation of women and men in the decision-making bodies of workers' organisations.
