Child abduction alert

Σύντομη Περιγραφή:

The aim of this pilot project is to support EU Member States introducing child alert mechanisms, with a view to protecting children and to solve cross-border child abduction cases in an effective and efficient way.
The specific objectives of the pilot project are the following:
a) To set up child alert mechanisms in the Member States, i.e. enhance
cooperation between competent national law enforcement authorities/ judiciary
and enable different channels to help transmit alerts rapidly, e.g. TV and radio
broadcasters and involve civil society where necessary;
b) To increase the compatibility and coordination of child alert schemes
between the Member States;
c) To develop structures and procedures, with the aim of resolving cross-border
cases of child abduction more efficiently.
Projects must relate to one or more objectives of the pilot project. Both national and transnational proposals can be submitted.
